Ireland is on course for the warmest November ever, since records first began.

Temperatures hit a balmy 17 degrees in parts of the country yesterday and it is only six weeks before Christmas.

The mercury in County Kerry yesterday was even warmer than Corfu in Greece, with temperatures hitting 17.3 degrees.
