Man pleads guilty to Mountjoy manslaughter

A Dublin man has admitted killing another man in Mountjoy Prison two years ago at the Central Criminal Court.

Alan Smith (aged 34) of Ballybough House, Ballybough Road in Dublin 3 pleaded not guilty to murdering David Byrne on July 3, 2009 but guilty to a charge of manslaughter.
