A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court to try a 23-year-old Greystones man charged with murdering a fellow Greystones man last year.

A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court to try a 23-year-old Greystones man charged with murdering a fellow Greystones man last year.

Thomas O’Connor of Burnaby Heights in the town is accused of murdering John O’Brien of Burnaby Lawns on June 4, 2010. Mr O’Connor has pleaded not guilty to committing the crime at Farrankelly Road, Delgany in Wicklow.

The trial, which will start tomorrow morning, is expected to last three weeks.
