Derry security alert declared over

A security alert in Derry has ended.

The army's bomb disposal squad examined a suspicious object and have declared it to be a hoax.

The Foyle Road has now reopened to traffic.

A number of businesses and homes in the area were earlier evacuated during the security alert.
