Bank chiefs meet for 'chat' with Government

Representatives of the country's three biggest banks are today appearing before the Government's Economic Management Council (EMC).

Taoiseach Enda Kenny and the Finance Minister Michael Noonan summoned the chief executives for a briefing on their lending levels.
