Irish Rail says services have resumed on all routes this morning but commuters in Dublin should expect some delays.

In its latest update at 8.20am the company said the situation was worsening on DART, Commuter & Sligo/Belfast services and delays of approximately 30-45 minutess were to be expected.

Trains were suspended through Lansdowne Rd because of a fallen tree.

Bayside and Drumcondra stations were also closed.

Speed restrictions are in place on some lines and flood damage to signalling equipment was reported.
