59-year-old man killed in Mayo crash

A 59-year-old man has been killed in a crash in Co Mayo.

The man died after his car struck a wall at Binghamstown on the Belmullet to Blacksod Road - shortly before midday.

He was the sole occupant in the vehicle.

The road is closed for a forensic investigation but is due to reopen later this evening.
