Higgins game for one-on-one debate with Presidential rival Gallagher

Labour's Michael D Higgins has said he would welcome a one-on-one presidential debate with independent candidate Sean Gallagher.

A weekend opinion poll put the two candidates clear of the rest of the field with Mr Gallagher on 39% and Michael D Higgins on 27% support.
