Shatter criticises report linking judges to Govt parties

Justice Minister Alan Shatter has criticised a newspaper report highlighting links between government Ministers and two newly promoted judges.

Alan Shatter said he was appalled by the story in the Irish Independent, which said that two judges promoted this week have close connections with Labour and Fine Gael.
