Gardaí make third arrest after fatal Roscommon fire

Gardaí investigating a house fire in Co Roscommon which claimed the life of a five-year-old girl have made a third arrest.

Mari Connolly-Keane died when a blaze broke out at her home in Boyle in the early hours of Monday, October 3.

Her father and two sisters escaped. Her mother was in hospital having just given birth to twins.

Investigating officers this morning arrested a man in his 30s in Sligo and is being questioned at Boyle garda station.
