Fisherman dies after being swept into sea

A Polish man in his late 40s has died after falling into the sea in Co Donegal yesterday evening.

It happened at around 5.30pm when the man, who was fishing off rocks at Bundoran, was swept into the water.

He was taken from the water by the RNLI and transferred to Sligo General Hospital but died late yesterday evening.
