Tears filled Irish eyes this morning as rugby fans watched their world cup dream come to an end.

The sea of green that packed New Zealand’s Wellington Regional Stadium was preparing to make the long trip home after Wales beat Ireland 22-10 in the quarter-final.

<p> Volunteers attending the DMax 7.7 fitness event, in honour of Darragh McCarthy, who tragically passed away last year at just 21 years of age. The sold-out fitness event saw over 300 competitors take on DMax 7.7 featuring seven fitness stations, lasting seven minutes per station with a two minute transition between station. Competitors entered in teams of two and tested their strength, endurance and mental resilience across a series of challenges including rope skipping, ski-erg, medicine ball, assault bike, rowing, burpee box jumps and wall balls.
