One woman released, another arrested in relation to Kenny murder

The female in her 30s who was arrested on Tuesday in relation the murder of Galway publican John Kenny has been released without charge.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí have now arrested a woman in her early 60s in the Galway area in relation to the murder.

She is currently detained at Galway garda station, Mill Street under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
