Pubs to talk with Sky Ireland over TV rights

The Vintners Federation of Ireland has said it is hoping to enter into discussions with Sky Ireland regarding a recent EU judgment which could impact on how television rights are sold across the European Union.

The European Court of Justice ruled that the sale of sporting rights on a country-by-country basis is in breach of EU law.
