Young pedestrian seriously hurt in Terenure accident

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for information about a serious road accident in Terenure last night.

A male pedestrian in his late teens was seriously injured when he was hit by a large, light-coloured van on Kimmage Road Lower near the junction with Aideen Avenue at 9.30pm.

The teenager was taken to St James's hospital where he is in a serious condition.

Gardai would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time.
