Teenage victim of Kildare crash to be buried today

One of two Kildare teenagers killed in a crash last weekend will be laid to rest today.

Jamie Lee and Claudia Govea died when the car they were travelling in collided with another car at Brownstown in Kilcullen shortly before 3pm on Saturday.

Driving conditions at the time were described as "horrendous".

Seventeen-year-old Jamie will today be laid to rest following Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of Saints Mary and Lawrence, Crookstown.

Gardaí in Naas are renewing their appeal for anyone with information on the accident to come forward.
