Three arrested in connection with Galway killing

Three men have been arrested this morning in connection with the investigation into the killing of John Kenny in Galway.

The 56-year-old teacher and part-time publican was found dead at his pub in Oughterard on September 25.

A post mortem found he had been assaulted.

One of those detained this morning is 17 and the others are in their 20s and 30s.

They were arrested in the Galway area following planned searches and are currently detained in Mill Street garda station.
