Man due in court in connection with Galway publican's murder

A man is due before court in Galway tomorrow, in connection with the murder of John Kenny last weekend.

The 56-year-old school teacher and part-time publican died following a violent assault at his pub in Oughterard, Co. Galway.

He was buried today at Kilcummin cemetery, following a funeral mass at Oughterard Church.

The man in his late 30s will appear at a special sitting of Galway District Court at midday tomorrow.
