Vomiting bug outbreak at Limerick hospital

An outbreak of the winter vomiting bug has occurred at Limerick's Mid Western Regional Hospital.

Visiting restrictions have been put in place by hospital management.

The public are being asked not to visit the emergency department unless absolutely necessary, and visits to the pediatrics unit have also been restricted.
