Man's body found in Limerick

The body of a man, believed to be aged in his late 50s or early 60s, was found at a flat on Wickham St in Limerick this morning.

Gardaí at Henry St. are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

The services of the State Pathologist have been requested and the scene is preserved for technical examination.

Gardaí said the man's body was discovered by the owner of the property.

It is believed he had suffered a number of stab wounds to the upper body
