Two people are still being held by gardaí investigating the shooting of a man in Dublin over a week ago.

A man in his 20s and a woman in her 30s are being questioned about the incident on September 20.

The victim - a man in his 20s - sustained serious injuries after he was shot several times in a laneway off the Harold's Cross Road.

Gardaí arrested the man and woman yesterday evening in the south Dublin area.
