Man questioned after Galway teacher's death

A man in his 30s is being questioned by gardaí in relation to the murder of a Galway teacher and publican.

John Kenny's body was discovered at his family's pub in Oughterard last Sunday evening.

His hands had been tied behind his back.

A post-mortem revealed that the 56-year-old had died of a violent assault.

A man in his 30s arrested in relation to his death is being questioned at Mill Street garda Station.
