Sligo shooting: Man released without charge, file prepared

Gardaí have released without charge a man in his 30s who was arrested after a gun attack in Co Sligo on Monday night.

The victim - also in his 30s - was injured in the face during the incident, which happened at Connolly Park in Tubbercurry.

He remains in a stable condition at Sligo General Hospital.

The man who was arrested at the scene was released from custody last night and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
