Cork Gardaí arrest man in connection with sexual assault

Gardaí investigating a sex attack in Charleville, Co Cork, on Sunday night have arrested a 21-year-old man.

A woman in her 60s was assaulted as she made her way home from bingo.

Officers arrested the man at a house in Charleviile at 6.45am this morning under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

He is being questioned at Mallow Garda Station.
