Newry police investigate car-hijack

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a hijacking involving a southern car in Forkhill, Co Armagh.

It happened at around 4pm yesterday in the Finnegans Road area, when a blue BMW was hit from the rear by a black Ford Mondeo car with a southern registration.

The driver of the BMW stopped and was undoing his seatbelt when he was dragged from the car by the male passenger of the Mondeo.

Both cars were then driven off at speed towards Jonesborough.
