Gilmore admits conflict with Troika over use of ESB funds

The Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore has admitted that the Government is at odds with the EU and the IMF over how to use the proceeds from the sale of a minority stake in the ESB.

Ministers want the money to be put towards job creation initiatives while the Troika has said it must go towards paying off debt.
