Phoenix Park station in for name change

Iarnród Éireann is to rename Phoenix Park station on the Dublin to Maynooth line to 'Navan Road Parkway' after consultation with customers.

Feedback had been received that the name caused confusion for those visiting the Phoenix Park, which is some distance away.

The company will implement the change over the coming weeks in station signage, route maps, and timetables.
