Varadkar: Some interest in Govt's Aer Lingus stake
Transport Minister Leo Varadkar has said there has been some interest in the Government's stake in Aer Lingus.
The Cabinet is set to discuss the possible sale of the 25% share in the former flag carrier this week.
It is one of a number of possible asset disposals to raise €2bn as demanded by the EU/IMF bailout deal.
Minister Leo Varadkar said that even if the Cabinet decides to get rid of the stake, it will take time.
He said the issue would be discussed by Cabinet this week, and that no decision had yet been made to sell the stake.
"It's not going to go up on eBay…We need to find the right buyer, the right price and the right conditions, if it is sold," he said.
