Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Luas stop assault

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted at the Drimnagh Luas stop last month.

The happened on the inbound platform on Wednesday, August 31.

The 19-year-old man was taken to hospital.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault and particularly a man who gave assistance to the victim to come forward.

He is described as being 5'10", in height, of average build with a goatee beard.

Gardaí at Sundrive Road are investigating.
