Road closures follow multiple collisions

A number of roads are closed this morning following serious collisions overnight.

The M9 Waterford/Dublin Road is closed northbound after Junction 10 Knocktopher following a single vehicle crash.

However, the road was expected to reopen by 8:30am.

In Kildare, the local road between Rathangan and Rathbride is closed at Friarstown following a serious single-vehicle crash.

And in Leitrim, the N4 Dublin/Sligo Road is closed westbound near the Roosky Roundabout until approximately 10am to remove a lorry which jackknifed yesterday.
