Food safety enforcement orders double in August

Six enforcement orders were placed on businesses for breaches in food safety last month, double the number in July.

Five closure orders were served by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland on:

Willow Tree Chinese Takeaway on the main street in Moville, Co Donegal;

The Oscar Taylor Restaurant in the Island View Hotel on the Coast Road in Malahide in Dublin;

Macaris Take Away on main street in Bray in Co Wicklow;

Bombay Spice on the South Circular Road in Dublin and;

The Arklow Kebab House on the Lower Main Street in the Co Wicklow town.

A prohibition order was served on M and B Catering, Clonshaugh Industrial Estate, Dublin 17.
