Cabinet to fast-track university in south-east in wake of job losses

The Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore has said every effort will be made to try and retain some of the jobs that are to go at the Talk Talk call centre in Waterford.

Mr Gilmore has also criticised the company for the short notice given to employees after they were told of its closure yesterday.
