Man charged with fatal stabbing in Tallaght
A homeless man has today appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed after an argument broke out in Tallaght in Dublin last weekend.
Thomas Kinsella with an address at the hostel Orchid House, St James Street, has been remanded in custody for a week.
Kinsella is charged with murdering 23-year-old John Murdoch at Cushlawn Dale in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Dressed in a grey hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms, the accused remained silent at his court appearance this morning.
Detective Garda Camon Ryan told judge Denis McLoughlin that the 32-year-old had nothing to say when charged earlier at Tallaght garda station following his arrest last night.
Legal aid was granted by the court which was told Kinsella is unemployed and homeless and lives on €186 a week.
He has been remanded to Cloverhill prison and will appear in court again on this day week.
