Hurricane Irene is causing disruption to many flight services from Ireland to the east coast of the United States.

Hurricane leads to Aer Lingus cancellations

Hurricane Irene is causing disruption to many flight services from Ireland to the east coast of the United States.

Aer Lingus has today cancelled all services to and from Boston and New York.

Intending passengers are advised however to monitor the Aer Lingus website for further information.

Daniel O'Neill of AA Roadwatch said all affected Aer Lingus passengers can re-schedule their flight free of charge.
