An Irish man who was injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Cambodia last month is being flown home by the Air Corps today.

An Irish man who was injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Cambodia last month is being flown home by the Air Corps today.

30-year-old Michael Riordan, from Mallow, was seriously injured in the incident, and has been in hospital for a number of weeks.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has been providing consular assistance to the family through its Hanoi office.

Mr Riordan has flown to London with Thai Air, and will be brought home to Cork on the Air Corps Lear jet later today with a medical team taking care of him during the flight.
