Teenager charged in connection with Donegal fires

A 17-year-old youth has been charged in connection with a Garda investigation into a series of fires in Co Donegal.

He was one of five people detained since Wednesday more than 11 fires reported in the county since early July.

Two people have been released without charge.

Two are still being questioned at Buncrana and Letterkenny Garda stations.

The young man who has been charged has been released on bail and is due to appear at Buncrana District Court on September 8.
