Probe launched into Liffey death

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man's body in the River Liffey in Dublin.

One man died and another was rescued in two separate incidents on the River Liffey in Dublin last night.

The body of a man aged in his 20s was recovered from the water off Wellington Quay at 11.30pm, about 40 minutes after emergency services were called in.
