Man arrested in London over North sex offences

A man has been arrested in London by detectives investigating alleged sexual offences in Belfast.

The 25-year-old is being transported to the North Ireland to face questions about a reported attack on another male in the city last month.

Neither the age of the alleged victim nor the specific location of the incident on July 21 has been disclosed by police.

Officers from the PSNI’s Rape Crime Unit carried out the arrest in London.
