Unrest in Derry following Apprentice Boys parade
At least three people have been arrested and a number of petrol bombs seized by police following rioting in Derry after the annual Apprentice Boys parade in the city yesterday.
A mother and daugther were pulled from their car by gangs who hijacked vehicles and attacked police.
Petrol bombs were thrown at officers at the Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall, while police were also targeted with a pipe bomb in the hours after the parade.
Cars were set alight and a van hijacked, but there have been no reports of injuries.
The violence has been widely condemned.
