Two charged in connection with North assault
Detectives in the North have charged two men - aged 20 and 21 - with attempted murder.
It is believed the charges are in connection with a serious assault on a 17-year-old Catholic boy on Station Road in Antrim early yesterday morning.
The pair are due in court in Coleraine on Monday.
Today, police arrested a third man, aged 22, on suspicion of attempted murder in relation to the assault.
The victim is in a stable condition in hospital.
Meanwhile PSNI officers were this evening dealing with a suspicious object at Southview Court on the Stranmillis Embankment in south Belfast.
A number of homes were evacuated and army bomb experts were at the scene.
