Investigation begins into Tallaght Hospital medical records leak

The Data Protection Commissioner is investigating after management at Dublin's Tallaght Hospital admitted yesterday that patient medical records have been accessed and disclosed without authorisation.

In recent years, the hospital has been using a private company to transcribe medical reports and GP letters.
