Construction will begin today on the Tralee Bypass in Co Kerry.

Construction will begin today on the Tralee Bypass in Co Kerry.

It is estimated that the 13.5 kilometre bypass, which will cost €60m to build, will reduce traffic in Tralee town centre by 25%.

Transport Minister Leo Varadkar will be on hand to officially cut the ribbon on the project later this morning.
