Govt to keep travel tax in place until new year

The €3 travel tax is to remain in place pending a further review in the New Year.

The Government had planned to suspend the tax if agreement could be reached with airlines on re-instating cancelled routes and restoring lost capacity in a bid to bring more tourists into the country.
