Ministers 'set to use bus lanes'

It has been reported today that Government Ministers have given themselves the green light to use bus lanes when on official business.

They lost the perk when they gave up official Garda drivers and now have to use civilian drivers in their own personal cars instead.

However, the Irish Independent has reported that they have now given themselves the go-ahead to use the bus lanes.

A ministerial order to the Road Traffic Act is set to make the matter official.
