Report: Govt planning to sell stake in State assets

It has been reported the Government is planning to sell minority stakes in key State assets in order to raise €2bn.

The plan would see parts of companies like the ESB and Bord Gais put up for sale and would have to be approved by the troika of the EU, IMF and the ECB.
