Man accused of attempted false imprisonment of Offaly teen appears in court

A man has appeared in court this evening charged with the attempted false imprisonment of a young girl in Co Offaly.

The teenager had been cycling between her own home and that of a friends at Moyclare near Ferbane, when the driver of a white van approached her for directions, and attempted to drag her into the vehicle.
