€1.2m in arts grants to be announced today

Grants totalling more than €1.2m will be announced today to help artists, musicians and actors take their shows on the road over the next 12 months.

The annual touring grants allocated by the Arts Council will allow people in towns and cities across Ireland to experience concerts, plays and exhibitions without having to travel.
