AIB boss expresses 'deep regret' for crisis in bank
The Executive Chairman of AIB David Hodgkinson is again expressing deep regret for the crisis in the bank.
David Hodgkinson made the comments at the AGM of AIB in Dublin which is being attended by only a small number of shareholders.
An EGM is also being held today to seek shareholders' support for a further recapitalisation which will result in the State owning 99.8% of the bank.
There are protestors outside the AIB Bankcentre in Ballsbridge Dublin ahead of today's EGM and AGM.
