New research shows that just 56% of workers do the traditional "nine to five" when it comes to work.

That is down from 84% five years ago, according to a study by Peninsula Ireland.

The research shows 73% of the workforce prefers flexi-time with 82% of bosses citing employee flexibility as a key consideration when taking on new staff.

One reason for the shift away from traditional office hours is the move towards 24-hour services being offered by companies in recent years.
