Govt announces more sitting days for the Dáil

The Dáil is to sit for four days a week, once a month from September, under new reforms announced by the Government today.

The Taoiseach or Tánaiste will also take questions on a Thursday in a step away from procedural rules which TDs felt were hampering democracy.
